How different life is than it was a month ago! We have been students for our whole married life, but are now really living as such. Since arriving here, we have been consumed by all of the events surrounding us. "Free and cheap" are words commonly heard around here. As in, "Oh, the stake is hosting a "free" dinner!" or "There's a kid's fair at the University and it's free!" (Hundreds of families come running) I love it and I love Salt Lake! You drive one direction and you are in the heart of Down Town, the other and you are in the mountains. Dan took us on a drive up to East Canyon tonight for family home evening. He had biked it last weekend. You literally head east on our street and you are in the middle of a beautiful landscape with a fabulous view of the mountains and the valley.
Last week we walked down to the stadium at the university to watch a professional soccer game- Real Salt Lake is the team. Bounce houses, game food, and lots of entertainment! We had a blast. This week we started a co-op preschool with 8 other kids in the court. I hosted 2 days last week. It was a little crazy, but really worth the work. It is fun meeting new friends and having the opportunity to watch Noelle interact. She was so excited! On Thursday, we tried a little dance class out at the community center here in the complex- really cute. Noelle loved it! We have since had sick kids- Noelle running a fever and Corom, well just really fussy. They are both feeling better. I think all of this activity and all of the new germs have gotten to them! Keep up the blogging everyone! I love staying connected!

yeah!! I'm so glad you guys are having fun! I'll have to get some tips from you with the preschool! We're doing a playgroup/mini preschool with girls anna's age, and I'm anxious to host!!
Oh and make sure to soak up all the outdoors time before winter comes! :)
Good to hear that you guys are adjusting and that you're living around people in the same situation. A bit different than The Fairways... We miss all of you guys and will "call" as soon as we can get to my parents' house for their next call.
And that picture is classic Noelle!! Crazy kid!
Love the pictures! Corom has already changed a lot! I'm sad I'm missing seeing him (and Noelle) grow up :(
I'm so glad you are settling in. It's great to be able to see the pictures! Noelle and Corom seem to change each time we see new ones. We miss you all and are looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks!
What great pictures! I love the one of Corom in the cowboy hat! What a handsome boy. I'm glad you guys are liking your new student life. Make the most of it, it will be a unique time in your life!

Wow, this is what I call living life to the fullest, you guys are awesome. Tami and Dan Aldama, I've been quietly following your blog for sometime and finally had to comment. I just think you both are so great and love that you are following your dreams. This is all going to pay off so much in the end. I'm glad your family is adjusting so well to Utah. I myself, along with my two dogs, are adjusting very well to Idaho. Yeah, I moved Star, Idaho just over two months ago and I love it. Anyway, thought I'd drop in to say hi. ;-)
I am in love with the picture od Corom in the cowboy hat! Please frame it!!!! I haven't fallen of the face, but find it so hard to get on the computer and do anything extra, besides bills or emergency emailing. I miss you too... I still would like your address! We're moving into Fair Oaks 3rd ward the first of Oct. I'll give more details later. FINALLY MOVING!!!!
I miss our babies so much. Glad you are making the most of the experience there. Glad you're close to family too. Love you, Mom
I love the pictures! Noelle is a hoot. I'm so glad you guys moved here. :)
CA loss has definitely been our gain. It's been so great to have you guys here! (Hey, I know those girls from your preschool pic!) ;)
