I can't believe how much fun holidays are when your kids become old enough to start celebrating with you. It has been a week-long celebration in our home! We kicked the week off with a Valentine package from Nana and Papa- cute shirts for the kids. On Wednesday, we had a Valentines Day party with our preschool friends. (SUGARRR!, Valentines, lunch, art projects) We've been getting Valentines from neighbors all week! Yesterday we got another package in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Shirley. (A movie and chocolate) (SO fun to get mail!) Last night we had a really fun Stake Valentines Day party at the church. (catered by Cafe Rio- yum!) We came home and exchanged gifts between our family, Valentines and flowers and had a yummy Hot chocolate and apple cider pasterie breakfast to celebrate this morning! It really has been a week-long celebration and so much fun for Noelle! (I think Daddy, who normally doesn't like Valentines Day even had fun!) So, Happy Valentines Day to all!
We've had quite a week. We started the week off with a really miserable Corom- rough nights and lots of fussing. We knew something wasn't right. I took him to the doctor to find the ear infections have returned- a double infection again. Noelle has also been sick with a cold. We have stayed in most of the week. It has been snowing- such a beautiful site, but results in alot of dreaming and discussions of summer time between Noelle and I. (You have to have something to dream about) I think the kids are starting to feel better. Corom has slept through the night 3 times in a row. (YAH, you heard that right) He has never slept through the night. He is 2 weeks from turning 1 and has finally gone down 3 nights in a row at 8:00 and slept until 7:00. (Fingers crossed it continues) I, on the other hand lay in my bed all night, waiting for him to wake up- a habit developed over the last year as a way of never getting too comfortable because he would wake up so much! Well, we are off to go run our Saturday errands. Dan is off studying for his 2 tests next week. Hope you all have a great weekend! I'll post pictures when I have a moment.
