Inspired...

Once a week I make a long drive to take the kids to gymnastics. It is our day to get away from the day-to-day and take part in a program that reminds me so much of the one that has been such a part of my life for so long. You should see Corom in the parent-toddler class. What a crazy, coordinated little boy! Noelle loves it too! As it was time to go home, I remembered seeing on Stasia's blog that she had taken her kids on a picnic to the temple. What a great idea! So, we visited a drive-through and went up the mountain to the Bountiful Temple to picnic and walk around the amazing grounds. We had such a lovely time. My kids were calm, Noelle kept singing and when it was time to go she asked me if she could go inside the temple to "feel the Holy Spirit." (so funny because these are lyrics to a primary song she sings, "I love to see the temple, I'm going there someday, to feel the Holy Spirit, to listen and to pray." I guess she thought that today was that someday. I informed her that she has to wait until she is 12! Thanks for the idea Stasia. I think sometimes in life you have to stop and share moments like this with your kids! We are so lucky here in Utah to be surrounded by so many temples. We just took part in the dedication of a new temple on Sunday! (I posted new pictures a few days ago, but they are already a few entries back. Scroll down to see them!)
