Our Week

Yesterday marked the first day of our new, busy schedule and we are psyched! Noelle began year #3 of preschool. She will be doing a joy school in the morning and a formal preschool in the afternoon! Some children are meant to be busy and Noelle is one of them. She is so uncomfortable and bored when the boys are napping and is always on the hunt for an adventure. Today is the first day that she has done both back to back- so quite without her here. Her teacher said that he told her that he needs her to be a leader this year as she is one of the oldest in her class and a returning student. We are so proud of her and are excited to watch her progress! Dan is on a 2-week assignment working at a school for autism and the boys and I are getting into our new routine. I am hoping that it will be one consisting of a firm naptime for both boys! I have also been actively engaged in my church assignments. It is so refreshing to feel my brain being stretched a little again as I prepare for trainings and a speaking assignment. Today we went with some friends to walk the zoo while the girls were in preschool- so nice! We even got to see little baby elephant Zuri nursing. The zoo is such an intimate place without the summer crowds. So, that is our week in a nutshell. Hope all is well with all of you- I keep checking blogs and would love to see some updates! (He! He!) Maybe I need to skip over to facebook- that seems to be where all of the traffic is! Happy week!

WOW! Noelle is really growing up...... so fast, it seems. Pretty soon, it will be big girl school, after school activities, and more! And the same for the boys. But let's not go there just yet... hope you all are getting in the Fall groove. Talk with you soon!
