It's been a wonderful weekend. Our Church hosts a General Conference every six months, where all of our General Authorities and leaders, Apostles and our Prophet speak to us. It is accompanied by musical numbers by the Tabernacle Choir. The event takes place over two weekends with 4 general sessions, a Women's Session and Priesthood session. The speakers give us instructions with a variety of topics. This year we were lucky enough to attend 3 of the sessions. (A first for us!!) I went with some neighbors to the Relief Society session, Dan attended the Priesthood session last night and we both attended the afternoon session today while neighbors watched our kids. It is a big deal, as all church members watch, as they broadcast to 170 countries and translate to many languages. We took the train downtown to the Conference Center-and had balcony seats, which were really quite good~ I feel so fortunate to live so close and that in the last 2 weeks I have been in the same building with the prophet twice. I have been on a Spiritual high! I have a new resolve to be better... a better mother and wife and more diligent in doing the things that will bring more harmony to my life and in my home! We are entering into what we think should be a calm week...hope you all have a good one too and update your blogs!!!!

We went to dinner last night and saw a little girl there wearing a shirt with "Friends don't let friends go to the U of U" on it. It was a BYU shirt... After poking and nudging Josh, we both went "Oooooooo, good thing Dan isn't here." ;) Glad you guys were able to attend such a special event.
So glad you were able to be a part of the conference events. We enjoyed them on TV and at the Stake Center. Can't wait to see you this weekend. Yipee!
