We are back in business!!!!

I have a smile from ear to ear right now as I get back onto my blog after 3 weeks of separation. We were wondering if we could just use our phones for the summer and save the money. (To go towards getting into the house) Needless to say, it has been 3 LONG weeks without it and yesterday we had it hooked back up. We are officially back on the world-wide-web! It has been a quiet week for the kids and I. Summer has not begun here yet, but it has been nice enough to play, though not necessarily warm. We have been visiting our lot daily in the hopes that something will take place. Its funny because the kids have heard me say, "DARN IT!" so much as I turn the corner to our soon-to-be street and see that nothing has happened. Now Elijah and Corom say it when we turn the corner. On Wednesday, we turned the corner to go look and Elijah shouted, "DARN IT!" only to discover 2 large diggers working on our basement! WOOOO! HOOOO! The neighborhood kids have been having a field day sledding down the large piles of dirt and getting into all sorts of things on the construction site. We have been assured that any damage done is on the shoulders of the builder until all is completed. PHEW! The kids and I were excited to discover that Twin has a lunch in the park program. We went on Friday and are starting to feel like there is hope! Dan and I have been called to team teach the 12-13 year olds in Sunday School. There are 28 on the roster! And tomorrow we are both speaking in Sacrament Meeting! So good to feel a bit busy!

I am quite backed up on my posts, but wanted to share our family photos taken by April, one of my neighbors at the village. (And visiting teacher!) I love how they capture the spirit of my kids. We did 4 generation pictures as well as photos with all of Dan's family who came for his graduation. I purposely did not include all of them, as I know that people can be a bit choosy on what photos are posted of them. I will post more later! Enjoy!

Those pictures are darling. Good luck settling in! It's always hard moving to a new place, you've got to get those roots down and start a routine! Then, it will feel like home! Good luck with your talks. Love you!
