Spring...are we there yet?

Here are some recent pictures. I need to start taking more. The kids are growing so fast!

Our favorite day of the week- gymnastics!

She's really warming up to the class

Our little guy- still not walking, but crawling really fast and trailing the furniture and walls!

Dan has started playing on a soccer team. We enjoyed the park during the game.

We had a beautiful week of sunny warm weather 2 weeks ago. We pulled out skirts, shorts and flip flops and played the whole week out on our playground with all of our neighbors and even spent a warm day walking the mall at Gateway. (People were playing in the fountains) I kept saying, "I can't imagine any more snow this year-it's too warm." Hah! The weather dropped overnight and started dumping snow. It's like pulling teeth, putting sweats on a child who's had a taste of comfy spring clothes. The runny noses came and we have all be stuck inside. It makes me feel like I'm going crazy! I have to remind myself that this is just Salt Lake weather. It seems so foreign to me. So what did I do this week? I pulled together all of my springy materials and taught the preschool children a lesson on "anticipating springtime" Monday to rekindle my hopes of better weather yet to come. (A cute preschool theme I must add) We sang springtime songs, talked about rainbows, new life, gardening and Easter. It made me realize that spring is indeed my favorite season. I can't wait for it to officially arrive!

Well, by way of update... Dan and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on the 22nd. We enjoyed a night out to dinner thanks to cousins John and Amanda for taking Noelle in for the evening! Yup, 7 years-hard to believe! I feel like I don't really have anything out of the ordinary to write about. Our routine makes the weeks go by so quickly. The kids and I are going to fly home for a visit later this month and will stay for about 10 days. Dan is going to be busy preparing for finals, so my mom invited us to come and crash there. We can't wait to see everyone! To all who will be participating in General Conference this weekend, enjoy! I love these weekends!
