alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5467286872353055522" />On Friday Dan turned 30 and in true Dan style- he requested that I not make a big deal about it. The kids were thrilled to giggles about dad having a birthday and had been counting down for weeks. I feel that 30 is a huge milestone in one's life. Needless to say, we were going to celebrate! We set the table in the morning for a waffle party in our pajamas, spent the day together as a family and then went to Red Robin with friends. We did a pinata (kids and adults) and had cake and ice cream. The kids had a blast! Our neighbor Brittany is taking a cake class and made us the most awesome bike cake- looked just like his road bike- she's amazing. The only thing that this daddy asked for for his birthday was diapers (which his parents did send)! Remember we are college students after all! A big thank you to all who sent birthday cards and gifts. It was a wonderful day! Happy Birthday to our wonderful husband/father! I can't believe you're 30! What happened to the 21 year old I married? Here's to another great year!
