DRUM ROLL PLEASE...

And we are moving to IDAHO! After months of job hunting, interviews and many prayers, we have accepted a job in Idaho. Life works in strange ways. I was just certain that we would come to school, Dan would get his masters and that we would end up back in Sacramento. I suppose this is why I dragged my feet for so long. Dan would have signed the contract about a month ago. It is going to be a change for our family. We are moving to a pretty small, rural community. We are feeling like our prayers have been answered because housing will be affordable, it will give us a chance to pay down our student loans and there is a temple right in the heart of the community. I have already had a few good cries. We have loved our time here, getting to better-know our extended family and developing wonderful friendships. We look forward with optimism to the changes to come, including sending our first to kindergarten in our new community. We are thinking the move will probably take place in the beginning of the summer. We will post more on the move as it approaches. Happy weekend all!

I feel like I dont know if I should say "Yeah" or "Im sorry" for you because you seem torn too. Maybe as the kids get older they will start looking forward to the drives to california. Im sorry it isnt by family again, that must be hard. But I am happy that it is affordable that must be a relief. Good luck with the move!{wish we were close enough to offer Joel to help you to move}

This is such an awesome opportunity for you guys, Tam!! You can truly create your own traditions, ways of doing things, and a time to meet new people. You'll be able to make a new path for your family, one that is unique only to you guys. Such a fun time of new beginnings and independence! And since it is going to be *rural*, maybe the boys can get the dog they've been wanting. HINT HINT!!! ;) See you guys soon!!
