Phrase of the day...

I have to write these things down before I forget them. Corom has had a pretty yucky reaction to his 3 year old vaccines. He cannot put any weight on his leg. It is really hurting him. So, I needed to come up with something for him to do on the ground. I pulled the rug out of the playroom, the one that looks like a town, with streets and buildings. We got out a bunch of toys: blocks, school bus, cars, little people. etc. They have been having a blast. I heard Noelle say to Corom, "Corom, you are Heavenly Father because you are "creating" the town." Noelle has been learning about the creation of the earth. She is really clear on the concept of who created it! I got a good giggle. Since Corom turned 3, these kids have been creating magical worlds. They play and play and play. It is fun to listen in. If I am in the room, Noelle is a little shy about using her imagination. But, if I am doing stuff in the other room, she says some pretty clever things. Ah, good times!

You are such a good mom and so good about keeping up on your blog! I feel like I have nothing to post about. My life is so boring!! But I love reading everything you post!

I bet it was that stupid pneumonia shot. Annabelle got it and it ended up having to get reported because she had such a bad reaction. Sorry you had to deal with that as well!

How fun! (not the shot, but creating the world. ) :)

Poor Corom!!

Kinda an interesting thing: dogs can get similar reactions to vaccinations too. It's called hypertrophic osteodystrophy, or HOD, and it gets to the point sometimes where the knee/elbow joints get so painful that they can't bear any weight on their legs. I'll hafta ask you more about this when we talk next because now I'm curious!
